Claire Lipton, LCSW, RYT, CCTP

Hi, I’m Claire - I’m a Tampa-based private therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with young adults and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, relationship challenges, critical self-talk, and uncertainty about values or next steps in life.

My Approach

My modern, person-centered approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to accompany you on your journey to self-discovery and personal growth. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and valued for who you truly are.

Education and Training

I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Tampa, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy. Following, I worked as an Artist-in-Residence utilizing art modalities with oncology patient’s and medical professionals as a way of healing and coping with compassion fatigue and burnout.

I went on to earn a Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration at the University of South Florida. I completed my clinical internship at Tampa General Hospital, focusing on psychiatric and chronic illness and dual diagnosis.

In addition to my education, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
